Buenavista de Cuellar   Buenavista de Cuellar is a village located about an hour's drive from Cuernavaca. It is a charming small town, reflecting the serenity of decades past, with adobe walls and tiled roofs and a population of 9,000 people, nestled in an agricultural valley, just over the state line in the neighboring state of Guerrero.

 
  • Buenavista Rural Studies Center  The educational experience offered by this program is truly unique. It allows students to attend Spanish Language Classes, taught by professional teachers, in a setting that is very representative of the many villages in rural Mexico. The program is specifically designed to give the student an opportunity to experience the culture and lifestyle of a small traditional Mexican village.

    Cuernavaca   Cuernavaca, also known as "the land of eternal spring," is a colonial city located about 50 miles south of Mexico City. It is a city of 500,000 inhabitants with the many advantages of a large city.

     
  • International Studies Center  Classes are held in the bustling, semitropical city of Cuernavaca, just 90 minutes south of Mexico City. The programs are well organized, and are designed to enable students to communicate in Spanish as quickly as possible. Additionally, the programs have a strong cultural component helping students to understand the Latin American Culture.

  • Universidad Internacional  The university was founded in 1980, and is affiliated with more than 100 universities, colleges and institutions in the United States, Canada, Japan and Europe, as well with the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos. Its philosophy reflects the importance in advancing communication and understanding between Mexico and other countries.

  • Cuernavaca Universal  Maximum enrollment is 50 students, and the average group size is 2-3 students per teacher (maximum 5:1). The small classes enable teachers to give individual attention to each student. The staff strives to create and maintain a comfortable atmosphere, and encourages spontaneous conversational exchange and productive social activities.

    Guadalajara   Mild and cool, mile high Guadalajara is spread amid a Savannah of grasses and shrubbery and blooming flowers. For those interested in Latin American culture, there is a wealth of things to see and do.

     
  • Spanish Language School  The Spanish Language School holds an excellent reputation for Spanish language instruction, and delivers personal attention. Established in 1968, the school, with its garden setting, is small and cozy, enhancing learning and encouraging camaraderie among faculty and students.

  • University of Guadalajara  Originally founded in 1792, University of Guadalajara is among the largest and most respected institutions of higher learning in Mexico. The Foreign Student Studies Center, part of the University, was established in 1948 to offer foreign students the opportunity to learn Spanish as well as acquire knowledge of Mexican and Latin American culture.

    Guanajuato   The city of Guanajuato, capital to the state of the same name and located just south of the high Mexican plateau, is one of the most important historical and cultural colonial cities in Mexico. The city is a maze of cobblestone streets and alleys that wind around steep hillsides upon a small ravine, opening into vistas of beautiful churches and small plazas.

     
  • DQ - Guanajuato  DQ utilizes the interactive method of teaching based on learning by practice. This means that grammar is covered, but as much as possible is taught in the context of practical situations. Speaking and actively using the language is central to the continuous interaction between teacher and student.

    Merida   Rich in history, abundant in subtropical beauty, and serving as the gateway to the world-famous Mayan archaeological ruins, Merida is only minutes by air from the Gulf Coast of the US and is convenient by land or air to the beach resorts of Cancun and Cozumel. The "Land of the Mayas" is a favorite of archaeologists and historians, and for everyone it offers a fascinating past-to-present view which is unique in all of Mexico.


     
  • Centro Internacional  has been exclusively devoted to the teaching of languages since its founding in 1974 and is fully accredited through the Yucatan Secretary of Education. Instructors are experienced native-speakers, well-trained and enthusiastic about their profession.

    Oaxaca   In Oaxaca you will discover both a modern Mexico and ancient indigenous culture. The heart of the city of Oaxaca is the zócalo, or main square, which is surrounded by a mix of colonial architecture and an indigenous marketplace.

     
  • Spanish Institute  is registered with the federal, state and municipal government, and offers courses to students who wish to study in an environment which will enhance their understanding of the Spanish language. The Institute's language immersion program offers the opportunity to experience Mexican culture and understand it through the acquisition of Spanish.

    Playa del Carmen   A relaxed city in the state of Quintana Roo, is located in the heart of the Mayan Riviera of Mexico, approximately 40 minutes by automobile from Cancun. Playa del Carmen is well-known worldwide because of its relaxed, tropical atmosphere and its unmatched beautiful beaches. With a resident population of 60,000 inhabitants, Playa del Carmen is a great place to enjoy the cultural and historic richness of Mexico and the Mayan people.

     
  • Mayan Riviera Spanish School  This school has designed its programs to accentuate its unique Caribbean location. The school features open style architecture, with most classes and on-site cultural activities taking place in thatched roof learning areas called palapas, which are surrounded by tropical gardens. The school opened its doors in 1997 with the dual mission of offering high quality instruction of Spanish as a Second Language while offering a memorable cultural experience.

    Puerto Vallarta   Tucked into a niche in the West Sierra Madre mountain range, it can be reached in 30 minutes from Guadalajara by air or in four hours by road. It is a city of contrasts, where natural beauty blends with modern tourist development.

     
  • Escuela de Español UG  Founded in 1994 and is a branch of the University of Guadalajara, the second largest institution of higher learning in Mexico. Classes at all levels are taught in 100% Spanish. A highly participatory teaching method is utilized, so that all students are encouraged to be involved in supportive group interaction.

    Queretaro   Located in the heart of México, the city and school are 200 km north of México City, the country's capital and one of the world's largest cities. Santiago de Querétaro is rich in history and colonial architecture, besides being one of the largest industrial and business centers of modern México.

     
  • Spanish Language Center  The school specializes in teaching Spanish to foreign students. In order to meet students' individual and unique needs, the school designed many practical and dynamic programs to learn Spanish which are opened to students of all levels, ages, and professional experience.

    San Cristóbal de las Casas   This city, with a population of 100,000, lies in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas, high in the mountains surrounded by pine forests. With its cobblestone streets and its red-tile roofs, San Cristóbal is a mix of 16th century Spanish influences and a vivid, colorful indigenous culture.

     
  • Instituto de Lenguas  The school has been teaching Spanish to students from all over the world since 1993. They pride themselves on a friendly and relaxed study atmosphere, and do their best to make each student's time with them as fun as it is rewarding.
