Japanese Language Programs

Japanese Language ProgramsHave you ever wished you could see Japan, learn the language, and enjoy the culture while studying? If so, a full immersion program may be exactly what you're looking for. There are a number of different Japanese language programs that are available in various interesting Japanese locations. These programs are an excellent way to gain knowledge of Japanese while also enjoying spending time in the country.

Programs in Japan

Fukuoka, the biggest city in Kyushu, is located in South-western Japan. It is a popular travel destination and is known for its temperate climate and pretty countryside. The city has been ranked as number one in Asia for several years based on factors that include safety, cleanliness, amenities, and overall quality of life.

Kanazawa, Japan is a large city but is less hectic than Tokyo or other larger cities. It is located near both the sea and the mountains, and it is near the location of the Hakusan National Park and the hot springs at Kaga Onsen. If you want to study in a very quiet and charming Japanese location, this may be the ideal place to enjoy one of the Japanese language programs.

Exciting Tokyo Location

In addition to the other locations, Japanese language programs are also offered in Tokyo. The city is best for those who want to learn Japanese in one of the most important cities in the world. With more than 12 million people, Tokyo is a bustling metropolis which is a must-see for anyone who is interested in the country. The city has a very long history and you'll see plenty of fascinating places.

Japanese Language Programs

The goal of each program is to teach students to communicate in Japanese. Courses range from basic to advanced and are taught entirely in Japanese. Group courses are provided for small groups of up to 5 people and are held 5 days a week for the duration of the course, which totals 60 course hours. 12-week programs are available that include 80 hours of study. These are provided for beginners, intermediates, and advanced learning.

The first beginner's course helps people become accustomed to the common everyday needs while in Japan. For example, it teaches language necessary for shopping, getting around, using the phone, talking to people, and telling time. The following courses build on this basic information, so students are able to continue their studies as necessary.

When you are considering learning a new language, there is no better way to do so than with a program that immerses you in the language and culture of Japan. The classes are generally scheduled for partial days, so you'll be free to tour the city and surrounding areas and still have time to study. Spending time in the city allows you to practice what you're learning in class and helps you gain a better understanding of the Japanese language.
