About The NRCSA Center

The NRCSA Center in Rome has been offering Italian Language courses since 1984, and has taught students from around the world. It is centrally located, and occupies a four story building, and has its own terrace and garden. Students can easily reach the Center using from all parts of the city using public transportation. After classes students can enjoy the many attractions that make Rome such a great destination. For example the Colosseum and the Basilica of San Giovanni are just a few minutes walk from the Center.

Courses are offered year round, and are led by a team of highly qualified teachers who specialize in teaching Italian as a foreign language. Teachers use dynamic teaching methods and stimulating texts to engage the students in the learning process. Courses cover not only the language, but also the diverse aspects of the Italian culture and way of life. Teachers will also try as much as possible to incorporate the personal interests of the students in the material used in class. The permanent teaching staff is directed by a curriculum coordinator who also supervises the development of new and up-to-date teaching materials.

About Rome

Rome is a city offering infinite possibilities for enjoying its beauty, history and lifestyle. Side by side with the Rome of the ancient times is a modern and lively metropolis with a vast range of sights and entertainment to delight its visitors. The particularly mild climate makes it possible to visit and enjoy Rome at any time of the year. An excellent public transportation system makes the surrounding areas - such as the Castelli Romani, Bracciano and Albano lakes, and the beach - all easily accessible.

To help students become acquainted with the city, courses are supplemented by a varied program of extracurricular activities. At the start of each course, teachers distribute complete information about Rome, its cultural activities and its services.
