Lodging

Student Residence - Semester, Year & May-June Programs Accommodation is provided in one of two Halls of Residence. Both are located in southern Paris and offer modern, functional and simply furnished rooms. Each room has a small shower, sink and toilet. A telephone is connected to the main desk. Cleaning is provided several times per week as well as bed linens & towels. It is recommended to bring extra towels with you. Meals are taken at the self-service cafeteria. Students should keep in mind that meals will be simple and institutional. TV room, cafeteria, laundry facilities, a post/mail service, a web terminal and public telephones are available to residents as well as a tourism and activities service.

Student Residence - July & August Summer Programs During the July & August summer programs, Sorbonne provides accommodation in both of the Halls of Residence above as well as a third residence. In the third residence, rooms are simple and functional with a washbasin. Showers & toilets are shared on each floor. Meals at this residence are taken at the university cafeteria. All halls provide bed linen & towels, but it is recommended to bring extra towels with you.


Homestays Host family stays are available for all programs upon request and at additional cost. Students are provided with a single room and 2 meals daily.

 

Arrival Information

The Semester and Academic Year programs include assistance, transfer, and orientation in Paris if notified of method, time, and date of arrival in advance. Students enrolled in the Summer program must arrange their own transportation upon arrival. NRCSA sends lodging information 7-14 days prior to departure. Information of where to go and how to get there will be sent to students prior to departure.
