Lodging

Residence
Fully furnished single/shared rooms in a brand new building located a two-minute drive away from the school. Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. The beach is literally five minutes from the building!

All units are located on floors fully equipped with new kitchen appliances, utensils, washing and drying facilities. Students can keep costs down by cooking their own meals.

Transportation

Students travel to and from the campus on the private bus is provided during the week. On weekends and evenings, local taxis provide transportation as well as opportunities for practicing Arabic! Also available (especially for male students) are baisa buses, local vans that ply the Sultan Qaboos Highway, transporting people from one end of Muscat to the other at a very affordable cost. The Mwasalat public transportation services are also available as an option to travel around Muscat. We encourage our students to use public transportation in groups in order to reduce costs.

For older students not in our study abroad program, car rental is also an option, and we can help to make arrangements any time.

Arrival Information

Arrival transfer from local international airport is available at additional cost. Lodging information is sent 7 - 14 days prior to departure. Information of where to go and how to get there will be sent to students prior to departure.
