Accommodations
Vienna Academy makes every effort to ensure that your stay is as pleasant as possible. Performance of host families and apartment lodging is regularly examined by the school. Accommodation is reserved from 12 noon on the Sunday prior to the start of the course until the Saturday following the last day of the course. All accommodation is an average of 10 to 20 minutes (max. 40 minutes) away from the school. Vienna Academy can be easily reached by public transport.

For all accommodation the student is issued with his/her own front door key upon payment of a refundable deposit of between 60 and 75 EUR. This deposit is payable locally.

|
Homestay
Stay with a host family in their home. The host families offered by the school include lodging with young childless couples, others with children of school age, and older people whose children no longer live in the home. Accommodation in host families is definitely the best way to practice German while getting to know Austria - its people and culture, outside the classroom.
A single room, shared bathroom and kitchen are included. Bed linen is provided and cleaned every two weeks, but please bring your own towels.

Student Residence
Students who choose accommodation in a student residence have their own room. All residences are favorably located with rapid access to the city centre. Some have a kitchen where students may use the hotplates and refrigerator free of charge, however, students must provide their own crockery and utensils. Most rooms have a private bath and telephone. Shared rooms are also available on request. Bed linen is provided and cleaned every 2 weeks, but please bring your own towels.

Student Apartment
This type of accommodation is for those individuals who are very independent. Share a well-maintained apartment with other course participants. The use of common kitchen is included and the flat contains all the usual kitchen utensils and crockery. Single or double rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen. Most flats are also equipped with their own washing machine and TV. Bed linen is provided and cleaned every 2 weeks, but please bring your own towels.

Hotel accommodations are available upon request.

|
Arrival transfer for the Summer Teen Program is included in the overall price. Arrival transfer is available for other programs upon request and at additional cost. Please advise of arrival and departure information at least 15 days prior to departure. Lodging information is sent 7 - 14 days prior to departure. Information of where to go and how to get there will be sent to students prior to departure.
