Cultural & Social Activities
The study center offers visits to near-by towns to highlight the practical, cultural, and social elements of the courses. These activities provide an excellent opportunity to relax and practice Italian with a member of our staff on hand.
Learning activites taking place outside of class are organized every Friday. Activities are geared toward discovering Milan, its history and secrets, while learning Italian. Students travel together to local sites such as the Sforza Castle, Brera Art Gallery, to photographic exhibitions of contemporary art, among many other local attractions. The school also arranges a full-day excursion during most weekends, a movie club that meets every Wednesday, and provides opportunites for students to meet each other in planned social gatherings.
The program of activities varies each month and is organized by the Italian courses coordinator and/or teachers. Cultural and social activities are optional and at additional cost.
