Activities & Excursions - Portico di Romagna

Activities & Excursions

Cultural & Social Activities Sightseeing-tours are organized regularly to the historical cities of the region:
  • Ravenna, ancient capital of Italy and city of the mosaic

  • Terra del Sole, the ideal-city of XVI century, built by Cosimo De Medici

  • Faenza, world famous for its museum and the production of ceramic.
Time is also available after classes for students to have fun, amd meet the people of the village: feasts, picnics, cooking and sommelier-courses.
Sports For those who want to enjoy active leisure time, we offer the following possibilities:
  • Horseback Riding - There is a riding stable and school close to Portico di Romagna where short or long riding expeditions are available. It is also possible to arrange weekend excursions on horseback.

  • Mountain Biking - Mountain bikes can be rented from the school at a low cost.

  • Trekking - The school organizes walks in the Appenine region between Tuscany and Emilia Romagna on a regular basis. These mountain tours are accompanied by an expert guide.

  • Tennis - A tennis court is in the front of the school and is available for a small fee.

  • Beach-Volley - Beside the tennis court is a Beach-Volley court.
