Lodging & Arrival Information - Cusco, Peru

Lodging

Homestay
The host family option has been developed particularly for those who wish to make a cultural journey with the aim of not only learning the language but also studying about the art, architecture and landscape of Perú, through the experiences, life and customs of a Peruvian family. The host families are carefully chosen and monitored through regular evaluations and student feedback. All families are middle class families, the majority of which live within walking distance from the school. The student will always have his/her own private room and will share the living room, kitchen and bathroom with the family. Also, the host families provide 3 meals a day: breakfast, main dinner meal and supper. Special diets may be catered for, eg. vegetarian, diabetes, if advised in advance.

Homestay Plus
The Homestay Plus offers students a slightly higher comfort level, in terms of the house and room being of a larger size, the food being more adapted to the students' desires, and a courtyard or garden. Homestay Plus is especially suited for those who want to be away from the bustling city center.

Student Residence
Accommodation in a student residence is perfect for those who enjoy contact with other students from different parts of the world.

Our Cusco center has a number of student residence options open to our students.

Single rooms are most common, though a few doubles are available for friends or family traveling together. Private bath may be requested, depending on date.

Arrival Information

Arrival transfer
from the Lima airport, overnight in Lima Hotel and a Lima-Cuzco is available on request and at additional cost. A representative in Lima will pick the student up from the airport and take him/her to a hotel for the night. Next day the student will be taken back to the airport for the flight to Cuzco. It is recommended that students arrive in Lima on Saturday so as not to miss the welcome dinner held in Cuzco on Sunday afternoon. A roundtrip Lima-Cuzco air ticket can be arranged upon request and at additional cost. Lodging information is not sent prior to departure. Information of where to go and how to get there will be sent to students prior to departure.
