Special Activities

Cultural & Social Activities The school will help students take advantage of their stay by arranging cultural, recreational and sports activities. All students can participate in the activities listed in the Intensive & Cultural Program at additional cost. The institute also organizes other activities and helps students find special courses, sports facilities, advisement on trips, etc. Some of the activities, workshops and trips are organized by the school and others are given in specialized institutions, sports clubs and travel agencies with which the school works. If fewer than three students, activities may be substituted.

Activities include:
  •   Every Monday new students receive an orientation of the school and points of interest in the city from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
  •   Every Thursday there is an activity for the students from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. This activity is free for all students. The activity may be one of our different workshops, games, movies, city tours, history classes, audio activities, among others.
  •   There are announcements in the school of activities that are taking place throughout the city such as: theatre, fairs, expositions, etc. The school sometimes organizes for the staff and students interested to attend together. Costs and expenses are not included.
  •   There are in the city several gymnasiums, golf courses, tennis and basketball courts, swimming pools, and bowling available to students at additional cost.
  •   Every Saturday there is a Mexican night in a nearby hotel which includes: Mexican buffet, Mexican music, Folkdance, and Bingo. Drinks and personal expenses are not included.
  •   There is one day fieldtrip to a nearby point of interest, historical site or nearby city; twice a month. Cost depends on trip. Minimum 4 students.
  •   Weekend trips can be organized to Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, Michoacán, Teotihuacán Pyramids, México City, Cancún, Acapulco. Additional cost depending on trip.
